Action plan

--> Our group has not worked to our best of capabilites, but we are determined to make the most of our time left.

--> We started filimg a while ago, and have got around half to most of our scenes filmed.

-->We need to film a few more scenes and maybe add some more random funny scenes into the mix, althtough we will begin editing from this week onwards.
our blog has not been updated as much as other blogs there i will post any late blogs with the data as the title, to indicate which date they were ment for.

--> We will continue filming, and although some of our cast have dropped out, we will improvise and do our best to continue.

--> As we are making a comedy trailer, the editing will be very important, as commentary and background music is key as well as on screen text and sound effects. which take some preasure of the filmiing.

--> We will film over the weekednd an throughout next week, our deadline is to have filming finshed by wednesday.

Also i will film the next time it rains, as its an important element for my scene.

Music

- Music;
we will research and try to find British artist or recorded songs that fit in with our scenes. if we cannot do this, then here are some song choices that we have found;
Wheatus – teenage dirtbag (41 secs onwards)
Black eyed Peas – I got a feeling 30 secs
Barry White – I’m gonna love you just a lil bit more baby.

Possible intro music..
Fat joe - lean back..
Mims - this is why im hot..
50 cent - in the club / jus a lil bit

commentry

- Commentary which will be recorded after all scenes are filmed and edited. Commentary will introduce characters and storyline with possible sarcasm and humour in tone of voice and expressions or words used. Commentary would be effectively used in and out of dialogues from scenes.
we would have to record this a few times, as we would need it to go well with the non digetic sound in the form of the songs that we would include in the trailer.

New twist

idea change implemented;
Harold and Kumar has 2 main guys,
Superbad has 3 main guys,
American pie has 4/5 main guys.
If we want to stand out, we will use 6 main guys, or possibly 3 guys and 3 girls, which will make our production different to those other popular films.

SONG RESEARCH

Barry White – I’m gonna love you just a lil bit more baby

Artist – Barry White (September 12, 1944 – July 4, 2003)

An American record producer and singer-songwriter. A five-time Grammy Award-winner known for his rich bass voice and romantic image, White's greatest success came in the 1970s as a solo singer and with his Love Unlimited Orchestra, crafting many enduring hit soul funk, and disco songs. Worldwide, White had many gold and platinum albums and singles, with combined sales of over 100 million.Instruments played – piano, keyboard, drums, vocals.Record labels – Uni/MCA records, 20th century records, Casablanca/ PolyGram records, A&M/ PolyGram records, Private Music/ BMG Records, Eagle Records, Mercury/ PolyGram records.Associated acts – Love unlimited. The love unlimited orchestra, Isaac Hayes, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson

SuccessIn 1972, he got his big break producing a girl group he had discovered called Love Unlimited. His best friend, music industry businessman Larry Nunes helped to finance this major start to his recording career. He made Barry his protégé, forming a production company with White and guiding him to fame. Formed in imitation of the legendary Motown girl group The Supremes, the group members had gradually honed their talents with White for two years until they signed contracts with Uni Records.

White produced, wrote and arranged the classic soul ballad, "Walking in the Rain (With The One I Love)", which climbed to #14 in the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart and #6 on the R&B chart. After the first album, White switched his production deal and the group to 20th Century Records where they recorded several other hits throughout the 1970s. These included "I Belong To You" which spent over five months on the R&B chart in 1974 including a week at #1. White married the lead singer of the group, Glodean James, on 4 July 1974.

While working on a few demos for a male singer, White was persuaded to release the songs on himself although he was initially reluctant to step out in front of the microphone. His first solo chart hit, 1973's "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby", rose to #1 R&B and #3 Pop. Then the Love Unlimited Orchestra's recording of White's composition "Love's Theme" reached #1 Pop in 1974, one of only a handful of instrumental recordings ever to do so. Some regard "Love's Theme" as the first disco hit ever, although Nino Tempo's "Sister James" had already reached the Hot 100 a few months before.

SONG- "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby" is a song written, produced and recorded by Barry White. Considering how successful it would end up being, it would probably come as a surprise that, for many years, White had little to no interest in a recording career.Released in the spring of 1973 as the first single from his 1973 debut album I've Got So Much to Give, the song was a #1 hit on the U.S. R&B chart for two weeks, peaked at number three on the Billboard Pop Singles chart and reached #23 on the UK singles chart. The single was also certified gold by the RIAA for sales of one million copies.- Genre – Disco & R&B.- Record label – 20th century Records- written and produced by Barry White.- Samples of the song have been used in numerous hip hop recordings over the years by artists such as Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, Eric B & Rakim, Ghost face Killah, L.L. Cool J, N.W.A., Mos Def, and Too Short. It has appeared in the films, "Love Serenade", "High Fidelity", "Kissing Jessica Stein" and "Bringing Down the House". It was used in the season seven "Friends" episode, "The One with Ross and Monica's Cousin" and in the season one "Cold Case" episode, "The Runner". It was spoofed by Sesame Street in a musical skit with Cookie Monster (backed up by the Crumbs Unlimited Orchestra) as "Me going to Munch You Munch You Munch You".
